About Me
First and foremost I love storytelling and the problem solving, creativity, and production process required to do it effectively. With a double major in Journalism and Film from the University of Texas, I’ve worked as a journalist, a documentary production assistant, an operations manager for an established YouTube channel and most recently an independent YouTube creator. I’ve produced dozens of videos on my own channel, using a range of techniques to convey the story. I do narrative development, set design, script writing, filming, special effects, sound design, scoring, animation and more.
But I also value collaboration. As the producer and operations manager for a YouTuber with over 3.6 million subscribers, I learned to lead a team and meet tight deadlines while executing everything from a giant Tesla-pulled Jenga tower to a $10,000 Instagram live talent show. It was my job to oversee day to day operations and ensure everything from video shoots to merch production ran smoothly. I also know the business of storytelling. Whether it’s figuring out how to build a life sized boat out of solid ice or communicating with clothing manufacturers in Pakistan, I am equipped to solve any problem in my way.
